About Me & This Blog

This blog is here for all things real estate and Kansas City! I love this city; lived here my whole life! I want to keep you updated on what's going on in and around KC, educate you on the home buying and selling process, give you tips and tricks to make your lives easier and make our homes prettier! For me, this isn’t just about closings and commissions; it’s about relationships. I love people! It’s my desire to help you make life better, whether that means sharing easy and affordable ways to update your living space, local events, recommending local businesses, giving back to our community, or coming alongside you to help you buy or sell a home, I care about YOU first. You can believe I will return calls and messages and I will follow up so you know what’s going on. No one should be left in the dark during the real estate process. I am not above anyone or any situation and I’ll do all I can to help you move from where you are now to where you want to be.
If you’re looking for a relatable, experienced, and fun real estate professional to be by your side from transaction beginning to end, I'm it! I've been licensed and in the business since 2014. I'm licensed in both Missouri and Kansas and have helped countless families and investors buy and sell their homes. I come from a background in the legal field. I was a bankruptcy paralegal before my real estate career started. I spent my days helping families that were struggling and looking for a fresh start. Many times providing a shoulder to cry on or being a sounding board for their frustrations. I brought that compassion, patience, and desire to help with me when I moved into the real estate world and now apply it to serving families searching for their dream homes! When I'm not selling real estate, you'll find me hanging out with my husband, daughter, and our 2 dogs. We love hanging out with friends & family, spending time outdoors, and traveling whenever possible. Whether you're a first time buyer, a seller, an investor, or a seasoned home buying and selling pro, I'd love the opportunity to connect with you and see how I can help you accomplish your real estate goals!

Tricks for Those Hard to Paint Areas in Your Home

While some DIY projects seem like they should be left for the pros, painting doesn’t have to be one of them. Basic painting seems easy enough, but sometimes we run into those hard-to-paint areas and regret not hiring a professional. Instead of hanging up the towel, try out these tricks for those spots and see if you can finish your project all on your own (and save some money in the process!) Painting Window Trim Painting the wood diving panes and sashes on windows can seem daunting at first. Most people think that lining your windows with painters tape will help, but that is usually just a waste of time. Instead, just paint away! This is the one time it is okay to get a little paint outside of your target area. When paint gets on the glass, just allow it to dry and as soon as it does, scrape it off with a razor blade.
