You may not be aware, but there are lots of little things you do each day that add to the dust, mold, and other allergens you're breathing in your home. Here are a few things to do to help keep your home a cleaner, healthier place.
1. Don't wear your shoes inside
2. Don't keep your temp too high - keep the thermostat around 70 degrees
3. Make sure your vacuum has a HEPA filter
4. Change your vacuum filter at least every 6 months
5. Change your furnace/AC filters every 3 months
6. Use a zippered, dust proof casing for your mattresses
7. Run the exhaust fan in the bathroom while showering
8. Clean your shower head
9. Wash your bath mat at least once a week
10. Use the exhaust fan while cooking
11. Replace your sponge every 2 weeks
12. Clean your coffee maker
13. Clean your door knobs
